Fashion Week Sacramento 2025 was held on two evenings, Feb 28, and March 01 at the Crocker Art Museum. Although its been a minute since my last Review of a Fashion Show, fashion indeed remains my first love as a photographer. As a delightful change of pace I got to attend a local Fashion Show, in the California State Capital and was delighted.

Produced by DMR Productions, each date presented new designers and a promise to celebrate creativity, innovation, and community. The local event reinforced fashion’s role in shaping careers and strengthening community connections, furthering DMR’s commitment to inclusivity and mentorship in the fashion industry.

FWSAC 2025 Collections featured emerging and established designers, presenting a platform for bold designs, and artistic expression. More than a runway show, Fashion Week Sacramento serves as a launchpad for creatives, connecting them to the transformative power of fashion.

Known for her passion for empowering women and girls, Dr. S Kennedy Garcia, SCPM. PHD. kicked off Friday night’s show.

Scatha G. Allison, the visionary behind Miss Velvet Cream, crafts neo-couture blending historical silhouettes with futuristic aspirations. Her upcycled, one-of-a-kind pieces are meticulously handcrafted from salvaged garments, breathing new life into textiles previously destined for landfills. 1. Hi! My name is Elise Ban, and I’m one of the makeup artists that worked this event. I was brought in as an independent contractor, and have no affiliation with Vault Salon. I would kindly ask that my name be credited as well. I worked on two models, one featured in the Tuxedo Den photos (Ian H), the other in the Swagger House photos (Cayla Harder). I can prove my work through BTS photos, which I would be more than happy to send to whomever needs to see them. Thank you so much for the consideration of my request.
