The Las Vegas Strip is home to about anything and everything when you are looking for a decadent vacation. But when it comes to craft beer and especially local craft beer, that is one area that it is still in its infancy stage. Beerhaus at The Park is the one spot you can always count on great craft beers with plenty of local taps to satisfy any beer enthusiast.

When it comes to beer and Las Vegas, a casino is the place to find big name commercial beers, but if you want something unique and flavorful, you are going have to venture elsewhere. If you are that person that longs for something a little more to their beer experience, the Beerhaus is nestled right in between New York New York and the renamed and renovated Park MGM. At Beerhaus you are going to find a little of every type of beer and with seemingly always changing 24 taps, you never know what you are going to find from visit to visit.

Beer Flight

You are generally going to find some well known names such as: Ballast Point, Golden Road, Pizza Port and Stella on tap, but it is the other handles that make Beerhaus truly unique. Your best bet is always to go with a flight of unknown beers to get started and while with most breweries you are likely to get a piece of paper with beer names scribbled on it, Beerhaus has a chalkboard on the front of your flight so you know exactly what you are drinking. Beerhaus has brought in some amazing Las Vegas beers for you to experience including: Big Dog’s Brewing, Tenaya Creek, Lovelady Brewing and Hop Nuts Brewing just to name a few. Instead of going on a local brewery tour, you can simply go to Beerhaus and sample a lot of what local Las Vegas breweries have to offer. It is always great to find unique beers such as the Banger Morning Joe coffe kolsch from Banger Brewing. This golden ale looks nothing like a stout but gives you a great rich coffee flavor with a wonderful aroma, yet it drinks much lighter that a typical coffee stout.

While not from Las Vegas, there are two great dark beers on tap, Great Basin Brewing out of Sparks, NV has their creamy and rich Outlaw Milk Stout on tap and Breckenridge Brewing out of Colorado has their wonderful Vanilla Porter, which pairs perfectly with the Bye Felicia from Beerhaus, vanilla ice cream with sprinkles in between sugar cookies.

Slow Roasted Shaved Beef Sandwich

Beerhaus serves up some amazing sandwiches with their slow-roasted rotisserie meats that include: pork, beef and chicken along with brats and dogs to go with your beer of choice. You might not be sure what atomic horseradish slaw is, but after trying it you will want to take it home with you. Served on top of a gigantic pile of beef on the slow-roasted shave beef sandwich, the tender and juicy meat is really brought to live with the slaw that isn’t atomic hot, but brings enough spice and heat to notice it while bringing freshness to the sandwich with the slaw itself. Topped with white cheddar this is simply one of the best sandwiches on the Strip.

Frito Pie

The free-range chicken sandwich is on the lighter side when it comes to breading, which allows the juicy chicken to shine through along with the herb mayo and crispy onions that really bring this sandwich together. Another great selection is the Beerhaus Brat, an IPA cheddarwurst  that showcases the handmade smoked bacon and onion jam, a little sweet and a little rich, it brings perfect balance to this high-end brat. The beer cheese dip is made using a rotating selection of local and regional craft brews so you are bound to get slight tasty variations on it. Served with the fresh baked soft pretzels to create a perfect combination, but this cheese sauce is so good you could use with literally anything on the menu and you would be happy. If you just want some decadent over-the-top bar food, the Frito Pie, served in a Frito’s bag, or the fried pickles are a must.
